It is My Motto to never give up never surrender; When I was disqualified from the ballot, I immediately filed a lawsuit in the Second Judicial Court. I did not hire an attorney, I did it pro se. When the Court ruled against me, with in two days it was appealed to the New Mexico Court of Appeals once again I filed it pro se.
I am now on the ballot, I will fight for you as hard as I fight for my rights. I will never give up or surrender.

His children, having attended schools in the valley, and him, having attended schools in the "war zone", knows our children must be better served. So many issues face modern families and so many children are left behind due to politics. Carlton says it's time to change course and remove ourselves from 50th place in education and into the top ten.
